Over 6000 people attended this years Childrens Fair put on by the St. Helens Daybreakers Kiwanis Club surpassing last years record of 5,700. 
Many different events highlighted the day.  Dancers, martial arts demonstrations,
Craft displays, face painting, games, prizes, treats and balloons greeted the participants.  Not shown are some of the many Kiwanis Key club members that helped prepare and conduct the fair.

Stan Mendenhall, from County Juvenile, strung beads for the children, while members of the Middle School Kiwanis Builders Club did Face Painting.  The St. Helens Library exhibited some of the many children's books that they had available.

VIPs Visit Fair

County Commissioner Rita Bernhart, & State Representative Betsy Johnson all enjoy the exhibits and presentations, while County Commissioner Joe Corsiglia plays music,  makes announcements, and provides people with information about the Fair.
Joe has worked at every Children's fair from it's inception and feels that it is just one more way to give something back to his community.
