party for the King and Haman where she reminded the King that Mordiecai saved his life.  She told the king about Haman's lies; and the king believed her.  As a token of faith, the King hanged Haman (A fate that Haman had originally planned for Mordiecai).

"So is that why you Party?" asked Sulo

"We are commanded to eat, drink, and have a good time," said Toivo. "According to the Talmund a person is required to drink until he cannot tell the difference between "cursed be Haman" and "Blessed be Mordiecai"…But not too drunk as to disobey any of the commandments or to get sick."

Annie got up and set a steaming roast down on the table.  "I believe Dinner is ready, and I think you all need to get some food into your stomachs before any of you disobey the Commandments and get sick."

"You know," said Harry.  "I never thought of it, but the Jews have managed to outdo both the Irish and the Fins.  St. Urho's day is one day before St. Patrick's, my understanding is that this was done to allow the Fins to get to the booze before the Irish… But Purim is two days long and it is just a little bit earlier in the month than St. Urho's and St. Patrick's.  Given the right circumstances, I think that there might be an excuse for a very long party."

"You had better think about that for a while" said Annie.  "In the meantime God bless all of us for our friends.  Let us say grace and eat."
