It can be funny what you can find in wastebaskets. A strange email turned up in a wastebasket in a public office.
City Councilman Keith Locke is a man who is always thinking. He has successfully run his own business for a number of years. Some say that the secret of his business success was his ability to out think his competition. He is now on City Council and he is continually thinking. He is continually thinking of ways in which to improve our city. Keith has worked hard to improve our downtown area. One great idea that he had was to redo our Plaza Square. Many people objected to this, but Keith is not the sort of person to be negative. He pushed ahead, and presented his proposal for all to see...Nay Sayers be damned.

Just recently he has come upon another idea. Keith is on the committee to build a City Conference Center. In the past he has been frustrated with the lack of creative thinking on the part of others. Rather than being stopped by frustration he has foraged ahead. He now has a new idea an idea born of pure genius. Strange that it should be found in a wastebasket.
Keith Locke wrote:
"I have been doing research on the possibility for using the Columbia View Park as a site for the building. The building would take 20% of the park and park already has all the amenities we need. The Park now is only utilized 2 or 3 days out of the year as it is and the building would only add to the needs on those days. Sitting inside to watch the Fireworks? elderly and as a fund raiser? Would be a great spot and fill our needs. Boise would consider parking also the county could help us out.
