Since the average citizens reads at less then a sixth grade level this title is a focal point. Most people scan a newspaper looking for pictures and reading nothing but the titles. It's over at this point and the media counts on that to sell papers.
This is how it reads to (billy-bob) average: "Some guy named Corsiglia ( most have no idea he is a commissioner or even what a commissioner is) but now they think he is being investigated by the FBI" turn to page two for more news: Now what did that say again, "Joe Corsiglia says someone tampered with his computer while he was away during a training exercise....and again front page: " A computer tampering allegation made by Columbia County Commissioner Joe Corsiglia in ( October ) tipped off a nearly five month probe involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI )
Does this sound as if Joe initiated this action by suspicions someone had tampered with his office computer ?

Tell me, if [ he ] asked them to check it out how is this that a seizure of his computer ? Does the spotlight think by changing the words every other line they can confuse the residents of Columbia County making it look like Joe is the bad guy ?

Now lets pretend we didn't read this and go right for the article written as a CAMPAIGN STRATEGY by the spotlight for Earl Fisher.

Freedom of the press and free speech being mocked by the Spotlight are an oxymoron when considering their theory of service to the community as their right to propaganda and lies about anything they want to print. They just can not understand why people who actually want freedom of speech would prefer to go to the update and be allowed to speak their mind and hear all sides of a story rather then pay for a paper controlled by a handful of nihilist's.
Why that's Amazing Earl ( Captain Picard ) I would have never known your grown son was a pedophile until you shared it with the Spotlight.....What a grand opening for a campaign speech. I am sure many of the mothers of Columbia County would like to hear more on your views of having sex with minor children.
