St. Helens Resident Vandalized -  Again

(Both sides of brick used to break window of truck)

The vandals were referring to Mark flying an inverted flag.  Many people are not aware that an inverted flag is an international signal of Distress - Mark was making a legitimate political statement.  A statement that is allowed under our own First Amendment.

Dear Bill-
Well, it happened once again. Albeit this time it is the Fall and not the Spring. What am I talking about? A large rock, say 5" in length and I'd say 3" across was thrown through my daughter's window in the wee hours of Saturday morning-about 1 A.M.
This rock put a pretty large hole in the window and I am surprised and concerned at the person/persons responsible. Had my daughter not have put a piece of fabric across the length or her window, who knows how much glass would have been scattered about the room. I am REALLY thankful that she was NOT in her room when this had happened. The rock hit the window with such force that it literally left and imprint on the fabric!
Was this random?
Kids at play?
Or is it still a small minded person/group here in our little "friendly" town lashing out against someone with the guts to speak their mind?
We have been egged, found spit upon our cars and of course the brick through the back window of my truck.
Now this.
If this was random, then I ask that our local law authorities step up patrols on our side streets.
If we are the focus of somebody's anger, then we ask them to step forward and talk to us about their concerns.
