I would like to assure every one who reads my column "Tammy's Take" 
(http://www.sthelensupdate.com/tammystake) that I write all of my articles, and Joe Corsiglia has never written anything under my name, nor has he offered information or any suggestions on what I have written in the past, or present.
I want to clear up any questions people might have about this. In the past few weeks the campaign for commissioner seat #1 between Corsiglia and Fisher has become very nasty. The Fisher camp has been determined to lower themselves to scrape the bottom of the barrel and run an aggressively nasty campaign filled with lies and deceit. The Fisher camp has accused Corsiglia of many falsehoods including writing my column as well as letters and barbs on Bill's website. Rest assured that is not the case. These very same individuals have accused me of using foul language at public meetings, disrupting public meetings, and many other things. Not one of these accusations is true.
I have personally lost respect for Earl, and for many of his supporters, to which I know quite well, their actions, lies, and vandalism has stunned me. I never thought that the people whom I share Democratic values with, have abandoned the party's principles and have become nothing more than a mirror image of the Republican party. They are a small group in the Democratic party, in appearance they act like Liberals, but in reality they are backbiting, back stabbing, individuals who are too cowardly to voice their opinions openly to your face. These people do not have the fortitude, when writing letters or blogging, to sign their real name/names, in fact they take pleasure in using other people names both alive and deceased to hide behind their spiteful and false statements.
These very same individuals have even tried to confront other elected party members at events to try and stop their responses to their written blogs. I find this feeble attempt to chastise elected members through intimidation disheartening and an apparent attempt to squelch our 1^st Amendment Rights guaranteed under the Constitution of this great land. Elitists has been trying to divide the Democratic Party in Columbia County, by the use of big money to promote their special interests; one of these people is a well-known public individual from Scappoose, who was once a Republican, this person gives huge amounts of money to both party's. It is also apparent that the attempts to smear Joe Corsiglia is not political but a personal hatred for Corsiglia, who refused to be bought off and who did not want to encompass a new career of being a puppet like Charlie McCarthy and Edgar Bergen duo.
I am proud to say that there are still true Democrats in the party, and that this small group of people will stand up for the Constitution and party ideals, and that they will continue to speak out against those persons who have corrupted the party, and will continue to fight big powerful individuals, who have their own best interest at heart and not the best interest of the majority of citizens of Columbia County.
I expect some of the people who claim to be Democrats to be offended by this letter; it is in my greatest hopes that this be the case. I suspect that I will be chastised for openly and frankly speaking about the people who are trying to corrupt our party. There was an attempt to corrupt the party long before I was elected, and this is well known in the realm of Columbia County. I am willing to take the backlash from this letter, I am not afraid of those who would wish to silence me, and I am not afraid to write the truth, and I will not crumble under any political pressure from with in my own party. In fact, I relish the thought of what the fallout from this letter may bring. That is, if these individuals have the guts to openly confront me on the blogs using their real names or a one on one.
