Last week two key senators of the democRat party Feinstein of California and Schumer of New York has sided with the illegitimate and power hungry president of the United States in their assessment of water boarding, "if it is torture or not". And has given their support to the dictators choice for Attorney General of the United States,). Michael Mukasey, President Bush's handpicked Attorney General nominee (a position recently held by Alberto Gonzales, another lying corrupt minion of King George). In a shameless decision these two senators have joined the club of home grown terrorists in upholding a president, a president who believes that he is above the law of this great country and joint laws with foreign nations. Dictator George continues to shred every law or agreement that has been designed to maintain a level of decency for all nations to adhere to, Guaranteeing fundamental rights for every military and non-military persons, agreements this country has been proud to help draft and support, laws that has been revered sacred through out the free world.
Humanitarian concerns that have been addressed for nearly two hundred years, and through out time, have been changed by updating the regulations to fit modern warfare, but remain basically the same, guaranteeing fair and humane treatment of all people. That is until the likes of George Bush and corporate America seized the White House and began their assault on truth, justice, and common good of the people of this country and the entire world.

Michael Mukasey Ruled that the President has the power to detain American citizens on U.S. soil indefinitely without ever having to charge them with a crime.

With statements such as this, senator
Patrick Leahy, D-Vt. head of the Senate Judiciary Committee voted against Mukasey, a lead that his fellow senators should of followed, instead Feinstein and Schumer did the exact opposite. Schumer stated that Mukasey was not his ideal choice but agreed to confirm the president's choice. In my opinion these two senators have committed treason against their own country and should be held accountable by their democrat peers and the whole TRUE DEMOCRAT PARTY. The democrat party should be outraged and should rally together and publicly voice their distain on this issue. If the democrat party does not speak out against this assault on basic humane treatment of all people, than the democrat party and every democrat in this country is no better than George Bush and his followers. To sit by and do nothing makes you as guilty as those who are inflicting torture and doing the crime.
A person such as Mukasey, whether he is a former judge or not, with views that decimate humanitarian laws such as the Geneva Convention, or the bases of our country, The Constitution, and supports a president that openly demonstrates contempt against our country, its citizens, and our CONSTITUTION should not be allowed to head the Justice Department of the United States.
Our founding fathers would turn over in their graves if they could witness what the Bush presidency and his minions have done to our country and the fact that AMERICANS are sitting by and allowing the destruction of what should be so very dear, OUR COUNTRY.

This assault on our country is not a partisan issue, I am so ashamed of our leaders on both sides of the isle that I am beyond words and can only hope that it is not to late to save our country from those who conceive in its destruction. This is how the Nazis came into power in Germany, ordinary citizens sitting and doing nothing about the grave injustices that were being carried out by those in power.

If not for your own sake, than for the sake of your country, do your duty and speak out vociferously against those who would transpire to destroy what our founding fathers fought so diligently to create, a government by the people, for the people, which guarantees certain rights to every person, citizen or not. If we continue to allow the destruction of our fundamental laws, we will have not a country to defend.
