There is NO Poverty in America
         Do I look Hungry?

Approximately 37 million people in the United States, which is nearly 13 percent of the total population, lived below the poverty line. These numbers are significantly larger for particular groups, and as a rule is children, minorities, and those living in certain geographic areas such as inner cities. The government spends billions in social programs to help these people but unfortunately it is not enough. With the down turn in the failing economy these numbers will increase dramatically and the hardships to these people will become increasingly difficult to counter. Poverty imposes costs on the nation as a whole, not merely in terms of social services but also through lost productivity that can affect the overall economy. There is a relationship between poverty and adverse social conditions, such as poor health, crime, drug use, domestic troubles, school drop outs, and children living on the street, a rise in unwed mothers in young teens, infant mortality rates dramatically increase.
Uneducated work force brings the economy down by workers who lack skills that are necessary to perform work, and fill jobs; poor education also limits the ingenuity of developing new technologies creating a stagnate economy, an economy that can not compete with other nations who has a good education system and an economy that is always changing and growing.
Economic growth is usually defined as the increase in the value of goods and services produced by an economy; traditionally this growth has been measured by the percentage rate, of an increase in a country's gross domestic product, or GDP. the growth in the GDA is how policy makers measure the growth of the country, unfortunately this indicator does not measure the growth or decline in the lives of individuals or households.
With the down turn in the United states economy these past several years and a bleak future ahead for several more years the poverty levels will increase in this country. The lack of health care to all Americans will increase and the whole economic structure of this country is being irreversibly affected. The millions of American who was once middle class have now fallen into the poverty category, something that has not been since the 1st Great Depression. While the richest American's increase their bank accounts off the backs of the working middles class and the now poor. America's future is at stake.
President Bush has spent trillions of dollars in Iraq for the sole purpose of increasing his and his corporate cohorts wealth while his fellow countrymen and women suffer and fall further into a life of poverty and despair. The number of homeless families living on America's streets is an increasing problem clear across this nation.
The health system of this country is now mainly for the wealthy and privileged, health care for our returning veterans is pathetic. These men and women come home from fighting for Bush's unjust war with devastating head and other injuries and cannot receive adequate care.
Bush allowed the Veteran's hospitals in this country to deteriorate to a state far worse than a third world hospital. While our veterans are receiving les than minimal care in buildings that are full of rats, mold, leaking roofs, and down right filth, George Bush is living like a king, along with his friends the oil companies, who are making far beyond huge record profits each quarter, off the blood and maiming of our soldiers and innocent Iraqi people, and the president of this country simply tells the American people do you think if I could lower fuel prices don't you think I would? Well Mr. President the answer to that is simply NO! Why would you try and help the American people over your old beyond rich cronies?
Mr. President I hold you responsible for the poor state of health which you have driven our country into, I hold you responsible for the excessive poverty that this country has fallen to. I hold you responsible for the over 4 thousand deaths of American in Iraq. I hold you responsible for our loss of jobs to cheep over sea's labor. I hold you responsible for the attack on union labor. I hold you responsible Mr. President for the loss of respectability throughout the world. Yes, Mr. President all these troubles will lay at your feet, Yes, Mr. President you and you alone have singly handed cause the demise of this country's Constitution and the rights guaranteed to all Americans. And finally Mr. President you will go down in history as the biggest black mark that this country in its short time has ever witnessed. A black mark so hideous that generations of scholars to come, will sit back and scratch their heads in bewilderment, wondering how a nation so great as ours, fell for a mere man so unworthy of leading this nation, wondering how a country of intelligent people could follow a man as wicked, and as wrong as you, Mr. President.
I know that the American people's will and fortitude will bring the evils that have befallen this country to its knee's, the American people will forge ahead and bring this country back to her original glory, because us Americans are a resilient bunch and have survived trials and tribulations through out our history, we will never surrender, accept failure, or allow corruption. Because if we do, than we are not the America that we know.
