TIMES ARE A CHANGE'N

want to thank everyone who turned out to vote this year, with record numbers of newly registered voters it is apparent that the American people have finally gotten their belly full of the Reagan/ Bush economics. You know the trickle down economics that never worked: instead it should be called the trickle up economics because the only ones that have benefited from Reagan/ Bush ideas have been the filthy rich.
Sometimes the American people are a bit slow and totally passive to a fault, but even the good-hearted American people have had it with Republican ideals.
Hopefully by the time the update has been updated we will have a new president that will work for the American people and restore our constitution to its former glory, which is why I am hoping to see history being made Nov. 4,08 with the election of Barack Obama.
Hopefully with the election of Obama the United States can once again become the greatest power in the world, respected by all nations, and furthermore respected by her own people. I am so excited with the growing possibility those individuals that have broken the law under the Bush administration, and hopefully Bush himself will have to answer in a court of law, answer to all the lies that he deliberately told to the American people. Answer for the unjust war in Iraq, answer for the unnecessary deaths of our troops and the innocent deaths of the Iraqi people.
I could go one and on but after 8 years of being under a dictatorship I bet everyone of you know all the hard facts concerning the Bush administration. The illegal wiretapping will be gone, freedom of speech will be restored, and unions will have fair decisions at the Labor Dept. Corporations will start paying their fair share of taxes, American workers will have a chance to earn decent wages and benefits, folks will be able to afford college, and Sr.'s Will be able to afford their medicines and eat too.
I hope the enthusiasm of this election continues to carry on for many years to come, I have been ashamed of the way Americans have let George Bush tear our country apart with his fear tactics, and allowed him to borrow on our grandchildren's futures. All to line his and his friends pockets with our money.
I hope Barack Obama and Joe Biden will be in the White House come January 09, we must have patience, and it will take time for the Barack Administration to fix all the wrongs inflicted on this country, by the Bush/ Republican Party. Things will change.
