Tammy Maygra and Brady Preheim

Running for county commissioner has been a fun experience for me. I have enjoyed meeting and talking to the hundreds of people that I have encountered at various events, walkathons, phone banks and at the post offices throughout the county.

I find that the people that I have talked to have many of the same concerns and expectations that our campaign has.  The people who will not cast a vote for us were just as interesting and enjoyable for me to meet. Although some people were downright nasty I found their remarks quite entertaining as many different personalities came through. After I talked a bit more with many of the people we found that we were not so different after all and had a common agenda and that was to make the community a better place for everyone.

The only difference between each of us was that we were trying to achieve the goal only going a different route which each of us thought was a better way. I harbor no hard feelings toward the people with different ideas, as I replied to their snide comments; this interaction is what makes a democracy work other ideas and opinions. I am a person who believes in a strong democracy and can take nasty comments in stride and certainly not personal. I wish other people would not take opposite views and opinions personal but it is what it is.

IF people would just sit down and talk with one another I believe we could solve many of the problems that face our country and community every day. I understand that we will never agree on certain subjects totally, but getting to know each other would sure help and maybe just maybe we could solve some of the problems in our community that would benefit all of us.

If you are ready for an open, honest and transparent government, officials that will work for you, and have no hidden agendas. Then I suggest you vote for Tammy Maygra and Brady Preheim.
