Trump’s Contempt For The Law

Just when you think Trump and his Nazi actions are coming to an end, he rears his stupid self again.

President Trump pressed fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in a bizarre one-hour phone call Saturday that legal scholars described as a flagrant abuse of power and a potential criminal act.

What’s new, this president had thwarted the law so many times during his 4-year presidency that I’ve lost count. He can’t stand it that he lost. Trump wants to remain president until he dies. He is a dictator, corrupt as they come. A man who views people not as rich as he is as undesirables and are expendable. He has singly handily caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans yet he still remains president.

Hopefully his latest disregard of the rule of law and elections has caught him and is enough to prosecute him, as it is state and federal law which he broke. And let’s throw in impeachment again. That’s would be great.

Unfortunately, the republicans not all but many are standing by this bastard.

Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with unclear criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one-point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.” Sounds like Mob boss talking to me.

Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.

I am so glad that they taped this crazy man’s phone call.  Trump even said close to begging…And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, that you’ve recalculated.” Trump is a desperate man.

Raffensperger responded: “Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong.”   I am so glad that Raffensperger held to the facts and the truth and did not cave from the attack from trump. At least there is one republican with some guts and integrity.

Trump continued to beg like the DOG he is…So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break.”

The rambling and at times incoherent conversation offered a remarkable glimpse of how consumed and desperate the president remains about his loss, unwilling or unable to let the matter go and still asserting he can reverse the results in enough battleground states to remain in office. For god’s sake, they have recounted the votes 3 times and each time Trump LOST

…what a Looser... give it up Orange Turd your scheming and treasonous actions have caught up with you. The majority of Americans said enough is enough. Your FIRED! Move on.

Trump went on to say…There’s no way I lost Georgia,” Trump said, a phrase he repeated again and again on the call. “There’s no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes.” All lies.

On Sunday, Trump tweeted that he had spoken to Raffensperger, saying the secretary of state was “unwilling, or unable, to answer questions such as the ‘ballots under table’ scam, ballot destruction, out of state ‘voters’, dead voters, and more. He has no clue!”

Raffensperger responded with his own tweet: “Respectfully, President Trump: What you’re saying is not true.”

Vice President-elect Kamala D. Harris called Trump’s conversation a “baldfaced, bold abuse of power by the president of the United States.” Biden’s top campaign lawyer, Bob Bauer, said the recording “captures the whole, disgraceful story about Donald Trump’s assault on American democracy.”

During their conversation, Trump issued a vague threat to both Raffensperger and Ryan Germany, the secretary of state’s general counsel, suggesting that if they don’t find that thousands of ballots in Fulton County have been illegally destroyed to block investigators — an allegation for which there is no evidence — they would be subject to criminal liability.

Trump also told Raffensperger that failure to act by Tuesday would jeopardize the political fortunes of David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, Georgia’s two Republican senators whose fate in that day’s runoff elections will determine control of the U.S. Senate.

Trump said he plans to talk about the alleged fraud Monday, when he is scheduled to lead an election eve rally in Dalton, Ga. — a message that could further muddle the efforts of Republicans to draw their voters out.

By exhorting the secretary of state to “find” votes and to deploy investigators who “want to find answers,” the president appeared to be encouraging him to doctor the election outcome in Georgia, which could violate both state and federal law.

It is clear that Trump had violated the law, threatened people, unless they doctored the election results to ensure him a win. Trump is a drowning man and will continue to flail helplessly in the rough seas of a lost election.

The trouble is who knows what he might try as Jan 20th edges closer and closer. Sill he go Peacefully? Or will he refuse to leave the White House? He has the power to cause real trouble until Biden is sworn in.

Trump has exhausted all his legal avenues and now all he has left is to cause hate and chaos and that he will do. It is another sad day in America and will be until this piece of garbage is finally thrown out in the trash.

Our democracy will stand, the RED WHITE and Blue will withstand Trump and his cronies.  AS nasty as it is, I have faith in our people and our system.
