Merrick Garland, the DOJ Attorney General, the man who will
Get justice for America from the fascist Trump

Garland Closing In On Trump

DOJ issues 40 subpoenas to Trump Allies, investigating attorneys, witnesses leading up to Jan. 6th insurrection. The DOJ is expecting and making sure the evidence against former president Trump, so much evidence that there is no wiggle room for the former President. To get out of his efforts to illegally over turn the 2020 presidential election, the evidence must be annihilating in the public suit.

The subpoenas also come as Trump is dealing with a separate inquiry into his handling of presidential records and classified material that he took with him to his home in Florida after the end of his presidency. Trump’s lawyers and the Justice Department are currently in a prolonged legal battle over the guardianship of those records.

Investigators are reportedly looking into is Trump’s post-election fundraising and his efforts to overturn the election by appointing false electors. A grand jury issued subpoenas last week seeking information about Trump’s Save America PAC. Trump milked millions out of MAGA people, taking the donations for his own personal use.

On at least three separate occasions, Mr. Trump had the opportunity to turn over all presidential records and classified documents, as demanded by federal authorities, but failed to do so. Trump could have turned over the documents at the completion of his term in January 2021, after receiving the May 2021 request from the Archives and, once again, after receiving a grand jury subpoena in May 2022.

'The Committee is concerned that, given this pattern of conduct, Mr. Trump may continue to retain presidential records at non-secure locations, including classified material that could endanger our nation's security and other important records documenting Mr. Trump's activities at the White House. NARA's staff recently informed the Committee that the agency is not certain whether all presidential records are in its custody.

the Archives is conducting an urgent review 'to identify any presidential records or categories of presidential records, whether textual or electronic, that NARA has reason to believe may still be outside of the agency's custody and control. This is very alarming news.

It has been proven that Trump and his lawyers lied to the FBI. DOJ Garland is certainly moving forward in indicting Trump. The fact that NARA staff acknowledges that all of the records have not been returned by Trump even after the raid is so disturbing and dangerous to our National Security, that action must be taken.

Some democrats are demanding that the Archives get written certification from Trump that all documents have been returned. More than 11,000 government records were found at Trump's Florida home and private club - including more than 100 with classified markings, and a number with the highest classification distinction. The House Oversight committee is conducting a separate investigation from that of the Justice Department.

As the plot thickens, more corruption is coming forth. Trump tried to manipulate the DOJ. US Attorney Berman, who was the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, told media that his department was working on several cases, including one involving former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon, in the months ahead of the election.

Barr “no doubt believed that by removing Berman he could eliminate a threat to Trump’s reelection. At the time he was fired, the Southern District of New York was working on a couple politically sensitive cases. One of those cases is the Steve Bannon ‘we build the wall’ case and DOJ people were very close to indicting that case around the time he got fired, and Barr knew about the case,” Berman told news media. Bannon was eventually found guilty but then pardoned by Trump.

He also noted his office had also been investigating Lev Parnes and Igor Fruman, two Trump allies who were eventually convicted of campaign finance charges that involved funneling money from a Russian tycoon into American political campaigns.

The Trump administration’s Department of Justice pressured Berman to indict former Obama White House counsel Greg Craig before the midterm elections and prosecute former Secretary of State John Kerry. Trump fired Berman in 2020 after he refused to resign from his position. Berman refused not to do his job independently as the DOJ was supposed to do. Barr was definitely doing Trumps dirty work. Barr politicized the DOJ. Barr brought in lawyers from other districts who were friendly to Trump in to the Southern district of NY. To do Trumps biding. Not only Barr but other lawyers will be investigated in these attempts to thwart the rule of law, or actually the obstruction of Justice.

In other words, anyone who did not follow lock step in Trumps schemes to make sure he won reelection were fired from their jobs.

But being a trump lawyer is not a smart place to be. it’s a dangerous job representing the former president, and not just because they may struggle to get paid for their work. Or his well-earned reputation for abusing them and placing them in Constitutionally untenable situations, such as lying to his lawyers, such as defending his possession of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. Now, the attorney-client relationship is fraught with legal peril for many of those attorneys. Trumps attorneys have been asked to testify as witnesses to potential crimes or evaluated as possible criminal conspirators themselves.

Well know lawyers such as Rudolph Giuliani, John Eastman, then there are those who worked with him in the White House, such as former White House counsel’s Donald McGahn, Pat Cippilone, and Patrick Philbin. In the White House alone, Cippilone and Philbin are joined by “at least” nine others. Add to them, the 17 mostly lesser-known lawyers who represented Mr. Trump in battleground states trying to over throw the election. Are facing ethics complaints, putting them at risk of being disciplined or disbarred by bar associations or the courts.” According to the 65 Project, which tries to track lawyers who have acted unethically, they’ve filed complaints against 40 lawyers involved in challenging the election.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of the amount of corruption the trump administration carried out domestically, we haven’t even touched what he did to foreign affairs.
