One of many expensive gifts Supreme Court Judge Thomas took.

Clarence Thomas -  Supremely Corrupt.

The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest court in the land. The court is supposed to be neutral is all aspects, while cases are brought forth to the court. Where the case is then heard, discussed and then researched law, interrupt laws and prior court cases all info that pertains is then taken to account. With careful and deep thought on the case is done.  A ruling is made by all the judges which sit on the court. And the ruling will be made by the majority of the judge’s written review and court decision.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court has been seated with judges with partisan judges, mainly far right judges which have been schooled and groomed to over- take the court for the last 40 years, by the Republican Party.

Even if you don’t agree with these facts, all of us with straightforward minds, respectful of the rules of law, and the integrity of the Supreme Court, can see the deterioration of the court by Judge Clarence Thomas a far right republican judge. Whose actions demolishes his credibility and plainly shows his partisanship, and his law breaking deeds.

The Supreme Court has no code of conduct, unlike the courts below it, which requires lower federal court judges to follow a code of ethics to "avoid all impropriety and appearance of impropriety.

The Supreme Court has been under intense scrutiny after exposures about Thomas’ relationship with Crow, which initially started with findings that Thomas accepted multiple extravagant gifts from Crow, including travel on his private jet and yacht. Thomas failed to disclose these gifts in a possible violation of federal disclosure laws.

Crow also purchased three Georgia properties from Thomas and his family members in 2014 and paid for the private boarding school tuition of Thomas grandnephew, both of which Thomas did not disclose.

The ethics controversies extends to Thomas’ wife, Ginni Thomas, a prominent conservative activist. A conservative legal activist, Leonard Leo, arranged tens of thousands of dollars of payments for consulting work to Ginni Thomas over a decade ago and instructed for her name to be left off of paperwork, which has been reported in credible newspapers.

Do we need a standard, enforceable, code of ethics for the Supreme Court? Looks like it.

Legislation introduced last week by Sens. Angus King, I-Maine, and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, would require the Supreme Court to create a code for itself and publish that document on its website. It would also require the court to designate someone − the bill doesn't specify who − to "process complaints" about alleged violations and publish an annual report describing the complaints and whether any action was taken to address them.

But the proposal carries no penalties for violations and would likely give the justices considerable leeway to interpret its requirements. "Transparency is the enforcement mechanism," King said. We're not talking about sanctions or any kind of penalties. But what we're saying is, establish the standards, and there will be transparency in terms of any charges of violations of those standards.

In a statement to Senate Democrats last week, Chief Justice John Roberts appeared to question the enforceability of the code followed by other federal judges, asserting its demands are "broadly worded principles that inform ethical conduct" but "are not themselves rules." Its canons, he wrote, are "far too general" to be rules.

Do we need a code of conduct? We shouldn’t. These judges are not stupid and they know the difference between right and wrong, Not accepting gifts over $250/value is a pretty simple concept. Family member can not gain from a decision made by the court. Judges cannot make a decision that involves family members, all they need to do is rescues themselves on the case.

These that are Republican judges are corrupt liars, and have closed ranks to protect Judge Thomas.

The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land and should be filled with judges that are not corrupt. Once again the Republicans have brought disgrace to the country and demoralized the American people. Americans use to have respect and regarded the court as somewhat fair in its operation, not any more.
