Asteroid Heading Toward Earth
The cause of the Demise of The Dinosaurs
Have you ever wondered what happened to the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs? The dinosaur-killing asteroid that struck Earth around 66 million years ago was huge, around 7 miles wide. Flying bout 27,000 miles per hour, and crashed directly into the earth, wiping out the dinosaurs and all but a few birds and a few rodent like mammals. When it smashed into earth, its force was about 8 billion times the energy of a WWII nuclear bomb. Which resulted in the asteroid being vaporized. It ends up as a fine dust going into the atmosphere and then came back down all over the earth when it rained...The dust darkened the skies and preventing the sun from shinning on our planet. Plants died, plant eating animals died and animals that ate plant eating animals died as well. It took over 4 million years for the our planet to completely recover… although, marine life was able to recover in less than 30,000 years. The impact of this Asteroid created what is now the Gulf of Mexico, the body of water that Trump wants to Illegally call the Gulf of America.
